Why Jeddah Mom Exists
When I first started this website over a decade ago, I wrote about motherhood, routines, homeschooling, faith, and everyday family life.
As my own children grew, so did the questions I found myself asking:
- Which educational opportunities are actually worth investing in?
- How do we prepare children for an AI-driven future?
- What skills matter beyond the classroom?
- How can parents support academic success without overwhelm?
I realised that parents don’t just need parenting advice. They need guidance to navigate an increasingly complex educational landscape.
That’s why Jeddah Mom has evolved into an education-focused platform that curates practical resources, expert insights, and trusted recommendations for families in Saudi Arabia.
Meet Aysh
Jeddah Mom is owned by Ayesha I. Siddiqua (Aysh Siddiqua) — a former college lecturer, educator, writer, entrepreneur, and most importantly, a mother.
As a parent raising children in Saudi Arabia, she’s experienced first-hand the challenge of choosing schools, evaluating learning programs, balancing academics with character development, and preparing children for a rapidly changing world.
Her background in education and many years of creating trusted online content, have shaped the vision behind Jeddah Mom: to become a reliable resource where parents can discover quality educational opportunities and make confident decisions for their families.
