Innovative Islamic Toys for Kids!
Muslim Dolls:
Personally, I love toys that promote diversity and cultures. I did not grow up with Muslim dolls but now my children are blessed to have so many dolls who look like them.
Since I live here in Saudi Arabia, we get to see lots of Islamic toys and dolls for our children. When my son was just a year old, the Fulla Doll came out. We used to enjoy watching ads of the doll and my son would say how the doll looked just like his mom. <3
A few years ago, we were sent this beautiful Jenna Doll (scroll below) but unfortunately I think it has been discontinued. I am not sure though… only I can’t find it online or in stores. It was perfect! We still have it… but I wish you guys could get it fo your girls.

Muslim Barbie – Jenna the Quran Teacher
Our favorite doll is Jenna the Quran Teacher. I cannot tell you how much she is loved in our home. My 4 year old and Jenna are inseparable. She talks to her, learns the Surahs from her, uses her to fall asleep and although she has 21 other barbie style dolls, Jenna remains precious. After all, Jenna is good mannered, respects and loves everyone and so modest. 🙂
If you are looking for a gift for little girl aged 3-7yrs old, this will be my first recommendation! Jenna Doll is available on their site for world wide orders. If you are in the Middle East, head to any major toys shop like Toys’r’Us, Hamley’s, ToyStory, or others.

Desi doll company:
If your child is the kind who likes electronics and hi-tech toys then Desi Doll company can help you. They have some very unique and innovative toys like the iPray Salah pad, Story sound books, speaking bilingual dolls and interactive puzzles.
They have a boy and girl doll called Yousuf and Aamina. They are bilingual dolls and great for your multilingual child.
If you’d like to buy the dolls on Amazon, you can buy the Yousuf Talking Doll here.
Buy the Amina Talking Doll here.
Plush dolls are so cute! They’re a cuddly and doll in one. If you have a little boy, try this Plush Zakariyyah toy by Little Maysoor . There is a Maryam and a Ruqaiyyah too. So sweet!!
Mini muslimah Dolls:
These are plush cushions that are shaped like dolls. How much fun! I know I’d want them for myself if not for my kids’ beds! They are too cute! Mini Muslimah dolls, have doll sewing kits too. So if your child loves to sew… this is the best! They have some fun notebooks, backpack dolls, etc too. Find out more on their site
Muslim Barbie – Ibtihaj Muhammad
I may have been a bit overjoyed when this doll came out. Because come on… Ibtihaj is a brilliant athlete, entrepreneur and inspiration to girls who never saw themselves represented. She is not only celebrated for her accolades but for embracing what made her stand out – her Hijab!
Ibtihaj is honored as a Barbie “Shero,” a woman who has broken boundaries to inspire the next generation of girls. What an inspiration for little girls!
This Muslim Barbie is available on Amazon. Get Ibtihaj Muhammad doll here.
Innovative Interactive Muslim Toys
I love interactive toys for my children. We have had all kinds of Islamic toys for them- from toy laptops and tablets to interactive pens and books to our most recent gift a Salah mat that talks! Here is a list of our most favorite Islamic gifts for kids.

My Salah Mat:
This innovative prayer mat is perfect for teaching little children to pray. If you know a child who loves hi-tech, flashing lights, sounds and screens, this is what you should give her/him! The Salah Mat is multilingual and speaks in 7 languages so no matter where in the world you are, it is perfect for your child. They will enjoy praying and also learning their duas while pressing all those buttons. You can get it from their site here. Get a 10% discount for being a Jeddah Mom Reader. Use code: Mom10
I’ll be honest here, I have only good things to say about this mat. It’s been a few years since we have been gifted this and I have bought it for my niece and nephews too. This is a winner of an Eid gift for children. Every home should have it. I still find my 6 and 7 year olds enjoying it.
This mat has taught my children their duas and even to pray correctly with the right posture for sajdah and ruku’u. You can read my recommendations for teaching children to love salah here and the Salah Mat review here.
Quran Cubes and Moon lamps:
We love a good Quran reciter. IN the past we have used those by Darrussalam but unfortunately it broke down after a few years. Last year I bought the Quran Cube for my son and my father. They both love it and it is one of the most used Quran lamp in our home. The kids enjoy listening to it day and night.
You can see a list of different types of Quran lamps on Amazon here.
Learn Quran through STEM
We reviews these fun toys from Binaye last year. They teach the message of the Quran through STEM. Impressive don’t you think? In a modern world that we live, we definitely need products that will help children see that Truth with clear eyes.

These toys are built around verses of the Quran. They are weaved into a story and then an activity (STEM based) to go with it. Check out details on the Binaye.com site
Arabicubes by Daradam kids:
These are the world’s best arabic cubes I have seen! I discovered them last month on Instagram and instantly fell in love! Can you see why? These blocks are perfect for not just preschoolers but also for older kids and adults! They are like the arabic version of scrabble!
