‘We all go through ‘bad days’ but it is how we sleep at night that counts.’ Who said that? I forget. I have come online today to encourage and give a virtual tight hug! We all need it sometimes and oh my, it feels so good to get one. No?
Last week, I missed a post. The week before that, I missed two. This week, I haven’t posted yet. Even now, I am blank. I have no idea what I am doing here or what I am going to write!
The past few weeks, things haven’t been so good around me. You know… Just those day? I am sure you get them too. We all have them… when things are so wrong that you wonder if it’s in the stars… the people, the weather, the health, the wealth… success when it had almost touched your fingers but you let it slip away… Ouch and sighs… you know?
I write about Life Skills and being positive as a parent and as a human being. It looks like I have it all covered and figured out but… No, no, nopes! I do try… and what works, I come and tell you guys. What doesn’t work, I tell you guys that too… hoping that you’ll see where I fell and you can take care on that front. That goes for not just life skills but parenting and productivity too.
I didn’t want to write today, but I read this:
It is on my desktop. I have it there to remind me to get up and get it done no matter the life. You see, when life is going all wrong, there is all the more reason for you to not give up. You have to fight the urge to let things slip by. You can get crushed under the weight of your problems or you can throw them to one side, flip the covers off yourself and get out of bed.
I chose to get out, get dressed and show up. I have no idea what to write but I have written this far. Created two graphics to go with the post too. I think, I did all right… what say?
