Motif # 6 |
You know what is taking so long? No, not the flowers themselves but the leaves and stem. I know it looks so easy and all but after the excitement of doing the flower, the leaves with their turns and twists are not just confusing, but boring too. I don’t know why but the leaves are just curling over. I hope they get into shape after the washing and blocking at the end. And… did you notice? The first flower is too long and the rest are coming on shorter. Oh well… I’ll think about the over all look at the end.
I made a motif from Lyn Morton’s book. The motif is called Water Lily and I used up the remaining thread on the shuttle from the previous motif.

Motif # 7 |
What is the motif for? I was hoping to make it into a brooch for my coat but… it turned out too big. Something must always go wrong… but, if it weren’t for mistakes, we’d never have inventions and discoveries, would we. I have a smart idea for this. I will post it as soon as I am done experimenting. Stay tuned. ::wink wink::
That's really pretty!
Your flower arrangement and waterlily look wonderful!!! 🙂
That is so beautiful, Aysh! I'm so glad to discover your blog and become a follower.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog just now. You made my day with your kind comment! I was wondering if you had a biryani recipe to share with me to cook the traditional way 🙂
