Ok so let me feel good about my accomplishments. I am excited that my son didn’t want to wear red socks the other day because they didnt go with his blue T. He had a red Lightning McQueen on it and he was wearing red checked shorts. I was matching his socks to his shorts but D didn’t see that. .Mummy no, no.’ was what he said pointing to his shirt and socks. I didn’t understand but then he said, ‘blue’. WOW! He knows his shirt is blue??! Any way, i explained he understood and that was the end of it.
Last night D didn’t want to sleep. He got two crayons and his book and started scribbling so I thought i’d play along and pointed to the green one said ‘green’. To amazement, he went to his toy box, pulled out a green block and came back and said, ‘green’. He meant to point out that my crayon was more of a bluish green then really green. Alhamdulillah, my son knows his colours.
