Life is good, she says. Ofcourse it is.. I have the best friend ever and we have so much in common that I realise … I am an amazing mom! I really don’t think I realy need to grow up…ever!
And… I can never stop bragging about my super duper, fabulous, toddler! MAshaAllah, he is really so much fun and he is so intelligent that I really can’t believe I actually gave him all my smart genes. (Ok so dad gave him the looks. :p) He can count 1-5 now and all thanks to his super clever mom who taught him to count his fingers and toes to get him to sleep. He started counting his crayons and then his food and now he knows the numbers…ok so not in the proper order but atleast he knows about numbers. 😀
He can scribble and Alhamdulillah, he understands that he must only scrbble in his notebooks. Ofcourse we do get the occasional scribbling on the floor with a marker but then he wipes it off himself saying, “ganda..ganda”(dirty) to himself.
He loves to read and he is now reading to his parents most of the time.
I had a hidden talent I didnt know about. I can sing! Really, no kidding… and i dont mean the bathroom singer voice either. So now, I sing my son to sleep and I am good…so says all who hear…no wonder my son will not sleep unless I sing and then too 5minutes is all it takes for him to start snoozing…ditto for dad in the room!
Just remembered… exactly how many teeth should a 19month old be having? my son is sprouting 12 new teeth at the moment and all at once! That means after he has them, he will have a mouth full of twenty teeth. I thought he was to get twenty teeth till age 4! Whatever, but my poor little baby is all cranky cause of it and I have books he has been gnawing on.
