Motif #2 -25Motif Challenge
And ………. I have completed motif #2 for the 25Motif Challenge. YAY!!! *Clap Clap Clap*. 😀 The pattern is Anniversary from Tatting with visual patterns – Mary Konior and I have done it in Coats Chain Mercer Crochet No. 20.
This is my second motif and I think I should keep track of what all I am learning from each motif. What did I learn from this motif? Well, I managed to get the rings and chains right. I have perfected the joining and I learned to attach new thread when my shuttle ran out of thread. I think, I also understand more clearly now as to how a pattern is worked.
I like Mary Konior’s style of tatting and I like the book, Visual Patterns. I guess, I’ll be tatting from this book again. 🙂

I am sorry for not being able to reply to your comments. I am a new mom and have a six month old baby who is crawling these days and so I am always so running about. I only have a few minutes through the day to check my mail, blog or comment and some days, I don’t have time for even that. It is amazing how I get time to tat but more on that some other day. Please bear with me if I don’t post or reply as often as I can. 🙂
TattingChic: The Flower’s for you. I thought of tatting a flower after you posted yours and I really wanted to tell you how welcome I feel.:)
Gina: Thank you Gina, for visiting me. I have already been on Antique Patterns and have downloaded some books but somehow, I don’t find antique stuff so easy to understand. 🙂
LadyShuttle Maker: 😀 Oh yeah been busy, alright!:)
Tattycat: Thank you for commenting.. you’re encouraging me to tat. 🙂
Linda: I know… isn’t it fun to find books online. I have visited your site and just couldn’t comment … was pressed for time…:) Your patterns are beautiful. I think I will be trying them out too. 🙂
Congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment, especially with a baby running around! I'm glad you're able to find a little time to tat and blog.
Good job on your tatting I can see your progression in your ability to tat slightly more complex problems. Thank you for the flower, you are so sweet. Keep on tatting, Ais! I'm routing for you.
