Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge review
I want to tell you about the very popular Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge! It is easily available in the UK or US but is still not available in stores here in Saudi Arabia. I am really excited that I finally have my hands on it! 🙂
Although, most ladies like to use their fingers to spread their foundation but without doubt, a foundation brush or a sponge will give you a better cover. Also, it is essential that your foundation covers up to give your complexion a boost and not look like it has been smeared on.
I love it! This spongie is really that good! I was surprised at how quickly I could blend in all that foundation. Flawless! It took me less than a minute to blend it all away and achieve a smooth finish and so effortlessly too.

This makeup sponge delivers pretty much the same result as that of the very famous and very expensive beauty blender but it costs so less! This cost me 6$ and is also available for a lesser price if you use discount vouchers at LookFantastic.com whereas the Beauty Blender Original Makeup Sponge costs about 20$. The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge costs even lesser if you purchase the Twin Pack
. This is a best seller so it often goes out of stock. Miracle Sponge is the way to go! And oh, it is latex free and super quality.
How to use the Real Techniques Complexion Sponge:
You don’t need to be an expert to use this sponge. Simply follow the instructions that come with it that are written at the back.
I have combination skin and a very oily T-zone so I use it dry. If you want a dewy finish, use it damp. Just run some tap water over it or submerge it in some water and squeeze out the excess.
I love using the flat side of the sponge. It provides nice coverage not just around the eyes or nose but all over the face.
The sides are used for the larger areas of the face. The pointed edge can be dabbed on to cover blemishes and dark spots.
As with all sponges and brushes, it must be replaced every 1-3 months depending on the usage. If you don’t use heavy make up frequently, then this may last you even longer.
The only drawback I could find, is that it stains easily but you can always give it a good wash with a little baby shampoo.
The Real Techniques Complexion Sponge is available for online purchase from Amazon or our personal favourite LookFantastic.Com. They have an Indian site too with lots of offers coming out all the time that you can try if you are in India.
Let me know what you think of this amazing beauty product. I would definitely recommend!
