Tatting and inspiring images
The guests have gone back and baby and I are still teaching each other to crawl! 🙂
Tatting is progressing at a slow pace with me still getting confused and joining on to the wrong picot… really, it is nothing more than my lack of concentration that is driving me to do that. Can someone please tell me what to do when I run out of shuttle thread. I mean, is there anything else that I can do except wind my shuttle up again and continue with the ends hanging around for me to tuck in later?
I have been around the web searching for patterns and books and just anything tatting. I came across a couple of necklaces. I don’t know where the lady who posted this got these from but… I found them on a Chinese site. Beautiful, aren’t they?
These necklaces are awesome. Do you have the address of this site? Did they have more tatting on this site. Very fancy evening wear. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
I am sorry carol but I only got these pics from that site. They didn't have anything more.. just these pics and some more that I will be posting in my next post. The site is in chinese and if you have the time and you know chinese then you can find a lot of arts there! The link that I worked was this: http://photo.163.com/photos/bz00/50601798/
Thank you for posting all these beautiful tatted pieces. I don't know Chinese, but will go visit the site for a look around. Lovely work!

Happy Tatting!
Hi Ais, I admire your perserverence. Do not be discouraged as even the most experience tatter does something like a wrong picot join every once in a while. you might benefit from joining one or both of these groups online. One is Here Be Tatters, a yahoo group. They can be found at http://dir.groups.yahoo.com/dir/Hobbies___Crafts/Crafts/Lacemaking

and/or you might enjoy http://www.etatters.com <

Ais, the comment box keeps cutting off part of the whole link for here be tatters. Just google Here Be Tatters and the link should come up no problem at the very top. It did for me. I hope this helps in your tatting journey.
