Tatting Challenge: Progress to Motif 5 and 6
I have added the final round to the ‘vase’, The pattern is by Jan Stawasz and it is called ‘Bukiet kwiatow w wazonie‘ in the book Frywolitka.

It was only a line of split rings joined to make the mouth of the vase. Every time I pick up another round, I can’t help but admire Jan Stawasz’ genius. Just one round and it becomes so different. Now that the vase is complete, I will be moving on to the flowers to complete the bouquet. That is what I was practicing on when I made motif 1 and 2. So looking forward to the flowers. There will be a total of 5 flowers in all.

It only needs, now, to be joined to the main motif but I am watiting to join all the flowers together. The flowers don’t take much time… Tatting, doesn’t take much time either, but as always the reason for the late updates is that I am unable to either find the time to go online or take a decent picture.
