A Trail of Craftiness
I haven’t updated my crafty obsessions for a while… Here is the update.
Let’s start with today. Woke up to my Little Whiner pushing an Art Attack Magazine in my face (which he borrowed last evening from the Library). Mom, I want a camera, … you promised me… you said you’d help me… mom GET UP!! It is morning… you should get up before the birds get up…. (yes, he said all that… I am growing a whiner!) At 8am, craft is the last thing on my mind but I did teach him to get up before the sun so I can’t complain. We ended up with this.

A few days ago, I finally added a flower to the band I had made months ago. Too big but it looks so cute on her!

Another flower for a beanie that was supposed to be a slouchie. I wanted to make it into a turban but it suddenly looked interesting by just adding a flower. I am not going to add leaves. Talking about flowers I didn’t mention that I added flowers to almost all of her caps.

A beret… my first ever! I always wanted to make one and when I finally found the perfect pattern, couldn’t resist making it. You can find the pattern here which continues here. It took me two days and I am really proud of the result. Isn’t it so pretty?

My sister surprised us with a cap! Now, she is one of those ‘I-hate-all-crafts’ kinda girl so we were quite shocked when she came up with this beauty. It is our favourite these days!

We have been collecting tissue rolls. 🙂 So far we have 7 rolls and we have absolutely no idea how many more we need! All this because we are making this:
