Hats, Booties and Bands… WIPs
The weather is still says ‘crochet’ in my part of the world. So, there has to be eye candy,… no? 🙂

The all so talked about and to be talked about Spring Flower Set… all so because my lil’ sister made the
hat and I am so so so proud of her.

This is a slouchie… I know it looks like a beanie but it is a slouchie. 🙂

Isn’t this beautiful? I don’t know why but… doesn’t something seem incomplete here?

Another pattern, YAY!! It is a simple chain stitch hat with a sc border all around. Iti s one of those ‘just for when you need a hat on that bald baby’ kind of a hat. 🙂

| Bands |
A baby girl has to have her bands! There are atleast two times that many more but, well… a thing I will be telling every new crocheting mom to a baby girl from now on: ‘ they grow out so fast’!!

| Bootie experiment #3 |
I have been making or atleast trying to make one for my girl since the beginning. This is the third experiment that went wrong. This one is too big. It will fit an year old. It doesn’t have a pair. 🙂 Why am I showing it here? To show you that it can be done : You can crochet a bootie around a shoe and it will be made…only thing, it will be bigger.

| The Dreamt up Bootie |
This is the first one that I made. I was six weeks postpartum and I woke up with a start at 5am because I had dreamt the pattern and had had to make it. Finished it in 30minutes…. I was so excited … I never made the pair! We went on our vacation, came back and it was small. 🙁
Moral of the story: Give a new mom some yarn and needles and stay out of her way… best way to ward of PPD!!
