‘How many Dates’ Count and Write Printable Mats | Ramadan Activity
Inside: Dates Count and Write printable mats as a worksheets-free Ramadan themed activity for children. You can create a busy bag or busy book using these to keep children learning through play.
Do you think Dates are synonymous with Ramadan too? My kids sure do!
We love Dates in all types and all forms. We are blessed to live in Saudi Arabia so we have quite a few types of dates here. My children love dates as is or in milkshakes.
I created this fun Ramadan printable for children to practice counting. It is a very simple activity and hardly any prep needed. Just print, laminate or place in sheet protectors and offer your child a dry erase marker and may be a bowl of dates!
I love creating busy bag activities for my children. We also make use of busy books for our children to practice on. This printable can very easily be made into such activities. Read on to learn how.
Another idea for busybag: Five Pillars of Islam Skip Counting Puzzles
We have a huge list of printable activities for Ramadan here on the blog. But every year I get emails asking me if I had some activities that weren’t all islamic or geared towards just Muslim children. We have activities like these Lantern themed playdough mats and time telling puzzles that aren’t just for Muslim children. This year, I have been conscious to make a few more non religious Ramadan activities for children. I hope you will enjoy using them in your home and class.

Child has to count the dates on the card, place that many dates on it and then write the number.
Without the fruit: Offer the book or busy bag with a dry erase marker. Child counts the fruit on the card and writes the number.
