Me is Crochet

Hey, Welcome! Want to know the three steps to creating harmony in a home with kids? Make sure to grab our Free Starter Guide after you're done reading this post!

I am a crocheter first, everything else next.

I needed to remind myself that today. The past week has been so tough here. Lots of things happening, illness, unkind words, heartless people, failure, burnt lunch, lack of sleep…

Then I read, read, re-read all the places and books that I love and I made sense as this: ‘In the life that we all live, there should be something that you can pull out that is you’.

Me is crochet. That one thing that is trully me! Me is tatting too, but that is when I want to shut my mind up. I always tat when I want to let go of something I feel. It is like therapy. It always works. I cannot design anything in tatting yet, ’cause I am still learning and polishing myself there. Crochet is, when I want to design and create, to express what I really feel. To just make and undo if it goes wrong and try again… to play. I am not scared of crochet, I feel. I can’t go wrong with it. Everything that you do is okay… it can be. In every other field, blogging, tatting, cooking, baking, parenting, organising… things can be screwed up and the results can be lost. No?

Do you have a hobby that is you? Tell me about it.
