My First Trip To BabyShop
And… an hour of a session with Jo-Jo, the sis, later, I was left with burnt dinner and no post! She has that effect on people. Talking to Jo-Jo is like she mesmerizes you, hypnotises you and to the extent that your head will spin, you will lose all sense of reality and your eyes will go round and round till they move like your staring at the top of a spinning carousel! Oh well… some people are so much a part of our life and a few minutes can freshen us up! So now… let’s move on with the updates this past week.
Aysh finally made that trip to Baby Shop and it was WOW! I can’t believe I never noticed how tiny-winy baby clothes were! Okay, so it is not that I never noticed baby clothes before, it is just that it has been so long since I last held one. The last time was 16years ago and that’s when my kid brother was a baby. Anyway, we have bought our very first baby-shawl. Okay so we have months to go before the baby arrives but we had to start somewhere and someday… And we needed to do some research into baby stuff. Anyway, so now we have some idea of what kind of crib we want and the kind of stroller we will need. It will have to be a travel system with all the travelling we do!
Talking about travelling, we have still not seen Kuwait and UAE and my exit-entry has expired. I really miss not going out as often as I did. The farthest we have been is Dammam and that is 20 minutes away! These days I am so bored and so desperate, I can just about move into a hotel. I asked Z a few days ago if we could go to Dammam for the weekend, stay at a hotel and then come back home Friday night. What did Z think? He thinks I am crazy. I don’t blame him… I am bored.
