Still stitching…
Here is the update on the stitching. It is definitely fun to experiment with a stitch every day. Keeps the boredom out and I am always looking forward to doing something new.
This is Feather Stitch. Somehow, no matter what I did it was looking like thorns and when I accidentaly managed to make a feather out of it… I decided, it was better to patch up a cloth and work on it. Nice flower, eh?
Before that was Algerian eye and Eyelet stitch. I had fun, yes.
Yesterday, I did this: Fly Stitch. As you can see I have run out of space on my sampler and have to work between the rows now. May be start a new one soon.
This is what I am using on the stitches! Shock you? This is what happens when you stash a few balls and skeins and tatting together.
Between and before all of the above, I had been working on a coaster too. This is from Rose’s blog. I absolutely love her doilies!
And then, somewhere in between that I was playing with Hairpin loops and made a band… that I have no idea what I am going to do with.
