Stitch a day updates
Ughh! uploading the pics in the right order can be so much of a pain! I have Alhamdulillah, managed to keep up with all my stitches this week. There were a few I absolutely enjoyed and then those that I really did not and then some that was ‘discovery’!
Cross Stitch was on last Thursday. I took a holiday on Friday and absolutely enjoyed cross stitch. I worked the traditional method because that is what is more pretty, I think.
The next day was Alternating Barred and Barred Chain. It made me go in circles and circles and I really, really couldn’t think of anything to do with it!
The next day was Up and Down Buttonhole. I didn’t know this stitch and it was fun playing around with it.
With Knotted Cretan, I was really wondering why Sharon B chose to include it as a different stitch but then I decided to use a thicker thread or ribbon and…YAY!! I like the effect.
Another go at it,with a much thicker Ribbon and wow! 3D. LOL!
Yesterday was Bonnet Stitch. I almost made the deadline in posting it! This one was new for me too. I didn’t have much time yesterday, so didn’t play around as much as I wanted.
