The Long Overdue Post

Winters should have the cold in them.. because when that is missing, it creates confusion … in our bodies and in our minds.

That is, exactly, what has been happening around with me. Jeddah had a complete one week or so of winter before we got warmer again. Sometimes,I believe, it was a conspiracy to get all the winter infections to wake up! We have all fallen sick… allergies and colds and then couple it with me being in my winter mood and that spells Hibernation! I really am too sleepy and too bored off crafts and threads. To many, who know me, it has come as a sort of shock. ‘You really are NOT doing anything?’ And to some, Hubby for instance, it has come as a relief. ‘This is going to get entertaining’, he thinks and says it too. When I am not crafting, I am upto talking… mostly nonsense but some of it gives rise to sensible ideas and the much needed change in things around me.
Well, what changed, you ask? Nothing. I am still talking nonsense. 🙂

This is a long over due post. I have written it, re-written it, edited it a couple of times, deleted most of what was irrelevant to this date and it still is incomplete! A lot has happened in the past few months. One, is the ‘good news’. We are expecting our third child and I am in my second trimester. We are due in July-August InshaAllah. That should explain my long absence here and everywhere else too.
Two, is the side effects to being pregnant. I had the most trying first trimester with every symptom known and unknown, written or talked about. Now, I am left with an aversion to everything food, crafts and ‘normal’.That engulfs, defines and dictates everything else that is happening around me at the moment.

I should blog more often. I am not sure how often I will update here but I seriously feel I want to. Moods and hormones, permitting ofcourse. But for now…. I want to rest my back. Ouch, my back!
