I tried really hard to make something meaningful out of this… alas!
I loved this one… Reminded me of popcorns and Kellogg Snaps!
In India, this stitch is called Moti Taka or Pearl Stitch.
I really was running away with this but then I didn’t have anymore stamina that day!
Weaved and Whipped Wheels
Whipped wheels are called Karhi Kamaan in India and they are worked with a type of silk thread that is called cone thread. The same stitch when worked in ribbon makes silk ribbon flowers. I love this stitch!
For some reason I kept getting into a tangled mess.. And pinching myself with the needle!
This stitch is really interesting… It is like joining everything that you have done… I wanted to experiment and play around even more but I got busy.
I must say I was totally annoyed by the fact that I couldn’t do much with this.
As always, you can join and learn more about these stitches at Sharon B’s site.
